For buyers: open the app, see kitchens near you, order and pay in the app, then collect your food during the pickup window. The cook’s exact address is shared only after your order is confirmed. Order status — accepted, cooking, ready — updates live, and you can message the cook directly about allergens, spice levels, or timing.

For cooks: set up your kitchen once — profile, pickup address, food-safety attestations, food handler certificate, and Stripe for payouts — then list dishes and post reels of what you’re making. You set your own prices, menu, and hours, and accept only the orders you want. Payouts go straight to your bank through Stripe.

Pickup is the point. Meeting the person who cooked your food keeps quality and accountability high, keeps prices honest, and keeps the money in the neighbourhood.

Cooks come first. Home cooks keep what they earn: a small platform fee per order and an optional Pro subscription — no commission tiers designed to squeeze sellers.

Honesty over hype. Every kitchen is clearly labelled as a home kitchen. Allergen disclosure is mandatory on every listing. Content is moderated by a human, and our policies — terms, privacy, food safety — say what we actually do, not what sounds good.

eatcircle is starting in Brampton, Ontario and the surrounding GTA. We’d rather serve one city properly than ten cities badly; new neighbourhoods open as the community grows.

eatcircle is built and run by Saravanan Soundar, a software engineer based in Brampton — one person building the app, reviewing content, and answering support. Small on purpose: every decision, from pickup-only to mandatory allergen labels, is made by someone who answers directly to the cooks and buyers using it.
